Commitment to
Child Safety
At Castle Hill Funhouse, the safety, wellbeing, rights and needs of every child is our highest priority. We are committed to making our centre a safe space for all children to thrive in. Our practices, policies and procedures ensure that our children can grown in a safe and nurturing environment, that is inclusive of children and families from differing cultures, capabilities and experiences.
Castle Hill Funhouse has a zero-tolerance policy towards child abuse and neglect. Our practices are guided by the Child Safe Standards, the National Model Code and are compliant with NSW Child Protection Legislation. Our educators are aware of appropriate child safe behaviours and their obligations as mandatory reporters. By implementing a robust safeguarding procedure and daily child safe training for the educators, we create an environment where disclosures and suspicions of abuse or neglect are taken seriously and immediately acted upon. Allegations against educators are taken seriously and investigated immediately. We ensure that every child’s right to safety is upheld.
At Castle Hill Funhouse, children’s voices, ideas and interests are valued, to create an environment where they feel empowered, protected and have a sense of responsibility. Our trained eduators build trusting relationships through open communication, encouraging children to expresss themselves with confidence. We are dedicated to listening and responding to their interests and concerns.
Together, we stand firm in our commitment to protect and empower all our children
